Principal’s Message
Alvie Primary School is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all students, staff and members of our community.
On behalf of our community, school council, I warmly thank you for your consideration to enrol your child into Alvie Primary School. By enrolling in our school, you become part of our learning community, where we work together to support all aspects of your child’s wellbeing and future as a learner.
I am very lucky to work with a team of professionals, who are passionate about their roles within the school. We have developed a culture of relational trust, which enables us to collaboratively work together to ensure our practice is relevant, high quality and evidence based.
Enrolments have grown in our school from 36 students in 2017 to 70 students in 2023. Our enrolment forecasts for the next two years will likely result in student numbers rise to 75 students by 2024, and for these numbers to remain steady for years to come. This will enable us to continue to operate four good sized classes.
Alvie Primary School is recognised by the wider community as a place where children learn well in a happy and secure environment. We are very proud of this school which our students, parents, teachers and wider community have created together. It is one where students are thoroughly prepared for a positive and productive future.
